Design factors for continued human presence on Earth (a draft):

Human cultures have evolved from:

1. matriarchal (baby cultures, not yet able to take responsibility, Earth is a gigantic amorphous salad bar open 24/7/365 and Mom takes care of things),
2. to patriarchal (adolescent cultures, trains humans to avoid responsibility, linear, technical, hierarchical power structures, slavery, ownership of land and "resources," weaponry, conquest, empire, "we live on the Earth," "the Earth and its resources are ours to pillage," father knows best, building civilization for the benefit of the wealthy and powerful),
3. to archearchal (adult cultures, trains humans in taking radical responsibility, "Earth is not our planet," "we cannot own the Earth, the Earth owns us," "we are the Earth," creative collaboration between the initiated archetypal adult woman and the initiated archetypal adult man, circular power structures, livingry, building matrix for the evolution of consciousness).

For your information, archearchy is not theoretical. Archearchal cultures are already alive and well thriving on Earth. You could visit one today. Or you could design and move into your own.

Modern culture is patriarchy, more specifically, capitalistic patriarchal empire. Modern culture governments are owned and run by multinational corporations, dedicated to creating ever more corporate profits regardless of social and ecological costs. The model for civilization as defined by large governments and corporations has come to its end. It is not falling apart so much as we are taking it apart to escape it, like a child must escape her parents' home to grow up, like a butterfly must escape its chrysalis to fly.

Next culture is archearchy. Archearchal cultures have a number of common characteristics, such as:

• Three people with a common purpose and a common context can start a new country (culture) by becoming an energetic configuration of commitment.
• The basic characteristic for being a country is resilience based on local sustainable authority, local sustainable production of food, local sustainable energy supply, etc.
  
• There is always more room for a new country in the global ethnosphere. In the catalog of Earth countries the characteristics and specialties (music, foods, festivals, handcrafts, meeting technologies, clothing, architecture, social customs, initiations offered, healing practices, etc.) of each country are specified. Each person as part of their ongoing initiation into adulthood chooses the culture/culture they want to live in. One initiation (the initiation of cultural relativity) is walkabout which includes visiting 30 different countries during 5 years between the ages of 15 and 23.
• The concept that a country (culture) must be associated with a specific piece of land (From which entity does a country purchase this land? Earth? How does Earth receive payment?) is merely a concept that is easy to understand. But just because a concept can be understood does not mean it has any relationship to reality.
• Thinking that funding from outside, meaning from other countries, has value for a country is an illusion; worse, is it delusion; worse, it is globalization happening again, meaning one country becoming the slave of another country.
• No slavery (in other words, no employees).
• No private or corporate ownership of Earth (neither land nor "natural resources").
• No hierarchical power structures. Hierarchical power structures arise from unconscious fears and are designed for control, domination, and power over others. Using hierarchical power structures is a design error. In a hierarchical power structure the people who do whatever it takes to climb the power structure get the top positions. People who will do "whatever it takes" to climb a power structure have no conscience (meaning they lack the connections between heart and energetic-body and mind). In other words, a hierarchical power structure automatically selects for psychopaths and sociopaths. Instead, circular power structures with rotating spaceholders are used such as in holocracy and the Phoenix Process.
• No exchange rate between a country's own currency and any other currency. Most often a country's currency is creative collaboration.
• No absentee ownership. No franchises.
• No beliefs. Beliefs have no relationship to reality. Anybody can believe anything about anything. If beliefs are regarded as having legitimacy, then one country might believe eating hotdogs is sacred and wasting hotdogs is heresy punishable by death, while the next country might believe preserving hotdogs is sacred and eating hotdogs is heresy punishable by death. If these countries do not understand that Belief Systems are B.S. then they will be incessantly at war with each other, and worse than that, they will be susceptible to takeover by a more tantalizing Belief System (like the Mayans of Ecuador were taken over by sunglasses and bluejeans).
• No war. Each country limits their population with another means than war to match their food supply so that members have a high quality of life (enough locally grown food). War is low drama Gremlin feeding frenzy and only seems justified if you fail to distinguish between Box and Being.
• No waste. No disposables. Cradle to cradle designs. No externalizing costs. No externalizing wastes. No subsidies.

Thumbscrews are metallic torture devices progressively tightened on your thumbs until your will is destroyed.

You are wearing thumbscrews since childhood.

If they somehow get a little loose, you tighten them back on yourself, just to keep things feeling normal.



 





With a crushed will you don't even try doing what you are capable of doing because even vaguely thinking about it brings up the fear that the screws will be tightened even more.

You have memories...

With shocking efficiency modern schooling and corporate-herded society have applied thumbscrew devices to your brain, your heart, your body and your being.






1. Screws are clamped on your brain to cripple your perceiving and thinking so you can only function within a framework of external authority. From then on, instead of ongoingly generating interesting new frameworks from within yourself, you search for the "correct" framework outside of yourself. You automatically adapt to that external authority so you know what to do and when to do it without getting in trouble. Your life curriculum is already determined. Nobody has ever asked you what you want to learn (as in the film Accepted) so you can't imagine that asking this question of yourself might be valid. Unpredictable actions never become an option.

2. Screws are clamped on your heart so that feeling numb equals feeling good. Your rocket fuel is locked away. Your squeeze-dried heart can no longer cry out what is important to you.


 



3. Screws are clamped to your body so you cannot engage in work that matters to you. Instead you merely survive.

4. And perhaps most horrifyingly, clamp-rings squeeze your being, so you cannot unfold into what you are, which means you cannot give what you have because you don't have it, and you cannot let yourself be seen because you cannot be you.

As we speak, you allow the schools and corporations to screw your children in the same way because your memories prove that, if you interfere, the pain could be applied to you again. You feel completely trapped and helpless.

After a couple decades the handicap becomes normal. Even if you suddenly recognize that present culture is suiciding the planet, you are unable to take unprescribed actions.





You are too numb and scared to leave your pitiful job.

You are too disconnected from yourself to creatively organize with like-minded people to develop a culture that you would love to live in.

You are too ashamed to admit that the slave masters have succeeded in sucking out your will. Since you think you are keeping this a secret you cannot ask for help.

You cannot stop shopping, drinking, smoking, overeating.

You cannot stop those occasional rage fits, or the depression.

You cannot turn off and discard your TV.

You cannot resist the internet sex.

You cannot wear old clothes or go without shaving your armpits or legs.

You cannot hesitate to compare yourself to the computer-enhanced magazine images of ideal product users.

And you cannot speak openly for fear of being beaten into submission again.

What sort of spineless scum have you become?

No amount of increased awareness can get you to change behavior because your will has been snuffed. Any resistance must be nonviolent for fear the pain will return.

























You are a prisoner of memories of childhood nightmares. What is the use of trying to get out? You may as well keep putting on the smiley face and pretending everything is just fine.

Sure it hurts to keep the thumb screws on.

But it probably hurts even more to loosen the screws and feel your lifeblood start circulating into unexpected capacities. Is that even possible? Could unrecognized beneficial talents still come to life?

That is an edgework question.

Who put the thumbscrews on, actually?

What was their original purpose?

Are conditions still the same around you?

Have you learned anything in the meantime that could make a different solution possible for you now?

What if you discovered there were small secret teams all over the world helping each other loosen the thumbscrews on all four bodies? Slowly, carefully, and thoroughly. Without permission. Taking extraordinary actions by the power of their own authority.

blog027 Politicians Are Not Your Leaders

DISTINCTION: Politicians are not your leaders.

NOTES: The belief that politicians are your leaders is marketed to you by politicians. 

192 mega-governments register themselves at the United Nations as world leaders but they are not. Neither are their associated generals or corporate officers. 

 

It is categorically impossible for political, military or business persons to be leaders. Here is why: the rules of interaction in the current system do not allow it.

• Politicians and other elected officials cannot care for the true well being of humanity because they must please whoever has the money or they won't be re-elected.
• Military personnel must follow orders from their superiors rather than following their own conscience or they get court martialed.
• Employees at any level of the company are forced externalize social and environmental costs to maximize profits for their shareholders or they are out of a job.

 

If I am a politician I play the game of I’m right, you’re wrong. I identify other politicians as the enemy, then start a costly conflict to keep the business elite happy, which keeps me funded and re-elected. Masses of people have brainwashed themselves into thinking it is safer to do nothing about this.

If I am a corporate director I play the game of I win, you lose. By arranging that social and environmental costs go to the general public or to future generations I collect the most Monopoly™ money, corrupt the politicians, and wipe my competitors off the board. Masses of people have hypnotized themselves into thinking it is smarter to do nothing about this.

Leadership is a completely different game from politics or business. 

Leadership is the game of taking responsibility for the well being of all. 

Mistaking politicians and CEOs for leaders has given us a planet on the brink of ecological collapse, a free-energy-from-oil fantasy-world society that is running out of oil, predatory capitalism that demolishes economic stability, and no proactivity towards overpopulation, health care, pollution, sustainable energy, or developing the potential of each person. If we assemble the world’s politicians to agree on a fair, ambitious and binding treaty for reversing climate change all we get is procrastination. 

 

There is deep longing in the human heart to follow a good king. 

Can you feel it in you? 

But where is the good king to serve? Our deep longing is why we gullibly believe campaign promises even when we know candidates will betray us.

Politicians compromise to please their benefactors. Leaders understand there are things you cannot compromise on. 

Politicians believe what they have now is probably better than the risk and fear that come with change. Leaders make change. They go first, pushing something forward that they believe in. They paint a new picture of the future and then gather and empower leaders with flexibility to go there.

If you lead you may be labeled a heretic, or these days, a terrorist. The profound fear of being singled out and thrown into some nameless prison keeps most people’s mouths and souls tightly shut.

For those of you who feel to afraid to be yourself, here is one useful fact. Today there are too many heretics to capture. 

 

 

Heretics are leading new and startling nonviolent movements all over the world. Not just talking about it, but taking immediate and responsible actions to open new gameworlds for whomever wants in. 

These leaders are right now creating and living in cultures of higher responsibility than mainstream culture. Find out yourself. Learn about and connect in with any of the 111,000 heretical organizations registered online at . 

EXPERIMENT: This experiment has 3 phases. 

 

PHASE 1: IDENTIFY YOUR LEADERS Your leaders are the people who open doors for you to expand into greater personal capacity. You have thought-leaders, action-leaders and life-leaders. Who has empowered you? Beware that a leader may not necessarily feel like a friend. This is because a leader is not motivated to act in ways that make them more popular. A leader says what needs to be heard, and persists until it changes the circumstances.

Perhaps you are empowered by your mother or father? A school teacher? An author? Explorer? Researcher? Filmmaker? Artist? Perhaps one of your leaders is a faraway blogger who just keeps delivering eye-opening text to you. Perhaps it is the person leading a weekly meeting or a training session that you attend. Is there a climate activist, poet, musician or performer who is a leader for you? Think about it. Who nurtures your heart, inspires your soul, brings clarity to your mind and stamina to your body over the long haul? Perhaps your partner is a leader for you? Or one of your siblings? List ten of your true leaders and how they inspire you.

PHASE 2: SUPPORT YOUR LEADERS Paying taxes supports politicians. They use half your tax money to buy weapons, subsidize corporate profits, and pay their own expenses. Figure out ways to support your leaders. 

Your first idea may be to donate money to your leaders’ projects. This is important, for sure, yet there are many other things you can do. For example, it is mind-boggling how many people derive enormous benefit from the work of a leader and yet never tell anyone else about it! They keep it secret! 

Stop hiding away your leaders! Make it a practice to tell short exciting stories about what you learned from a leader. More ideas? 

• If you have any bootlegged films, music or software throw away your collections and buy the real thing. This supports the creators you love. 
• Communicate with your leaders and write them public thank you notes. (e.g. Thank Leonardo DiCaprio for the way he died in Blood Diamond. Exclaim your gratitude for the brilliant life-joy and dynamic genius of Lana Wachowski's speach at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crHHycz7T_c. Tell Kosha Anja Joubert how masterfully she navigated the 2013 Global Ecovillage Network conference in Switzerland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2YIcIqn5OI) 
• Participate in your leader’s classes and workshops. Buy their books, CDs and DVDs and give them to everybody you know for birthday or Christmas gifts. Your relatives might not read the books, but you never know who will come over and borrow them!
• Go online and blog about the work of your leaders. Explain what they are saying in your own words.
• Give five star ratings. Write radiantly vulnerable online endorsements. 
• Share links to their websites and blogs. 
• Build their legend. 

These small actions truly support your leaders. 

Go out of your way to take actions that support your leaders each day.

 

PHASE 3: EXPAND YOUR OWN LEADERSHIP Commit to yourself as a leader. For example, Patch Adams, the world-reknown humorous-human doctor, writes back to every single person who writes to him . Child or adult, any country, if you write a letter to Patch he writes back, personally, to you. That is commitment. 

Bring your own leadership to life by publicly sharing your vision of what is possible: write, talk, sing, dance, film, paint, journey, build, design, research, do what most inspires you to take responsibility for the well-being of all. Then connect with, support and motivate the people interested in what you are doing. Keep learning from and feeding your tribe. Yes, you can.

At the Next Culture Research & Training Center it becomes more and more undeniable that human beings are designed to Do Epic Shit... "shit" being a technical term, in this case meaning: to intentionally do things in one paradigm in the presence of people functioning in an entirely different paradigm, e.g. Occupy World Street www.occupyworldstreet.org.










Doing Epic Shit automatically emerges as a side effect of undergoing authentic adulthood initiations, which, by the way, are not available within modern culture. 

Meaning you will need to step just beyond the thoughtlimits of modern culture to get them for yourself. But also meaning there is an almost total lack of initiated adults at work in modern culture political, corporate, military and church hierarchies. 

It turns out that being a bridge and creating possibilities for people make the step-wise shifts over to using next-culture thoughtware often involves doing epic shit.


As an example of the simplicity of Doing Epic Shit, the Gaian Road Team made two interviews, which were not in our plans two days before - they came from unexpected referrals: with Mikki Willis, CEO from www.elevate.us film studios, and with Queen Ra, a village weaver visiting from Jamaica (http://www.facebook.com/queenra?ref=ts&fref=ts). 

The interviews are for our documentary film: The Emergence of Next Culture, being made while the Gaian Road Team is having High Level Fun Doing Epic Shit. 

You can Do Epic Shit too when place doing what you came here at the center of your life instead of simply trying to survive as a slave in the American economic gameworld. 

There are plenty of other interesting things for you to do besides waking up each morning in fear of not having enough money to live.

But doing those other things requires that you first shift to the context of Archearchy (next culture) where Doing Epic Shit is an every day matter...

...simultaneously guaranteeing that you have plenty of interesting stories to tell while sitting together around the indoor or outdoor living-room during check-in.
